Job Title: Electrical Assembly Operative
Reports To: The Assembly Operative will report to the Production Manager
Job Overview: Romaquip LTD are market leaders in the manufacturing of Winter Maintenance and Waste & Recycling vehicles. We are currently inviting applicants for the position of Electrical Assembly Low Voltage Operative. The role will be based in our Irish Headquarters in Birr, Co Offaly. The successful candidate will join a fast paced and skilled manufacturing team who pride themselves on delivering high quality products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· To work to company Standard Operating Procedures and good manufacturing practices
· To work as part of a team to achieve set and agreed targets, whilst using own initiative
· Use of all hand tools
· To work to a high standard of quality, consistency and productivity
· To follow SOP guidelines to ensure high quality products are produced
· Ensure all rules and regulations are adhered to
· Ensure work area is clean safe and orderly
· Working to tight deadlines to ensure targets are met
· To work with Engineering department in troubleshooting/problem solving
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
· Ability to work on own initiative in a fast paced environment
· Customer service driven
· Team player
· Good communication skills
· Available Immediately

· The successful candidate will form part of the engineering team, working on new designs, and continuous improvements, producing and maintaining 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation; including BOMs, Assembly drawings, Revision documents, Technical manuals, and necessary Quality documents.
· To work to company Standard Operating Procedures and good manufacturing practices
· To work as part of a team to achieve set and agreed targets, whilst using own initiative
Requirements:
· Proven track record delivering complex projects
· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
· Ability to work on own initiative in a fast paced environment

· Good communication skills
· Available Immediately
· Good level of health & fitness
· Proficient in Excel, and Office programs, and capable of producing technical documents quickly
· Experience in manufacturing environment, and Quality Management

· Understanding of hydraulic systems, and experience in hydraulic design
· Experience with electronic control systems (particularly CAN systems)
The minimum required qualifications are:
· Degree in Engineering (preferable Mechanical)
· 3D CAD experience (SolidEdge, SolidWorks)
· Experience working with a Quality Management System e.g. ISO 9001

Job Title: Romaquip UK Customer Support Engineer
Reports To: UK based Service Manager
Job Overview:
Field based from home in the UK. The successful candidate will be strategically located around the South West region.
The candidate will be joining our well established, vibrant, highly motivated, skilled team of engineers for the repair and maintenance of various fleets of Romaquip salt spreaders, snow ploughs and kerbside recycling collection machines around the UK. A Romaquip Service Engineer must also be prepared to train operators with new equipment, work with customers, and potential customers on a daily basis. Must also be prepared for nights away from home and overtime as the job requires.
As a front line diplomat to our customer base the candidates must have;
Excellent communication skills, I.T, written and verbal, to be able to communicate at all levels.
Be clean & tidy in appearance and general housekeeping.
Be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
Be proactive and self-motivated with approach.
Ability to work on own initiative / work as part of a team.
Ability to ensure correct use of all PPE / H&S requirements.
Technical Qualities:
The successful candidate will have experience of the following for diagnosis and retro fit,
Electric / Electronic control automation systems.
Hydraulic drive and automation systems.
C.A.N. systems.
General knowledge of Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Technology.
Experience of CoDeSys programming systems is an advantage.
Experience of P.L.C.s is an advantage.
Full UK driving license essential (LGV class 2 is an advantage)
Education:
Time served.
HNC. C&G NVQ or equivalent
